Revealo does not pay users for uploading reviews. Users earn trust first — recognition follows trust, and future opportunities and rewards are based on reputation, not the number of reviews alone.
What is Trust Score?
Trust Score is a reputation score that reflects how trustworthy and helpful a reviewer is. It is built gradually through consistent, authentic contributions — it is not based only on followers, popularity, or viral content.

Trust Score Principles
A reviewer earns Trust Score by:
- Sharing genuine experiences
- Posting high-quality reviews

Review Quality Score
Each review is evaluated based on:
- Clear explanation
- Personal experience

Low-effort reviews receive fewer quality points.
Community Helpfulness
Instead of simply counting likes, Revealo uses Helpful Votes. Trust Score increases only when reviews are consistently marked as helpful.
Engagement Quality
Meaningful interactions are rewarded:
- Answering genuine questions
- Updating reviews after long-term use
- Responding politely to comments
- Clarifying doubts
Spam comments are not rewarded.
Consistency Score
Trust grows through continued genuine participation over time. Consistency doesn't mean reviewing every day or every week — it means remaining an active, genuine contributor instead of posting a few reviews and disappearing.
Whether you write one review a month or several in a day, what matters is that your contributions stay authentic, useful, and consistent over time. Quality and honesty matter more than posting on a fixed schedule.
✅ Good Consistency
- Shares genuine reviews whenever meaningful experiences occur
- Continues contributing over time
- Updates previous reviews after long-term usage
- Maintains authentic participation
❌ Poor Consistency
- Posts a few reviews and never participates again
- Repeatedly posts duplicate or low-quality reviews
- Uses multiple accounts to manipulate the platform
- Attempts to artificially influence Trust Score
There is no fixed number of reviews required per day, week, or month. Revealo values genuine experiences over posting frequency.
Revealo never limits genuine contributions. We only prevent duplicate, fake, or manipulative activity.
Verified Purchase / Experience
Where technically possible, verified purchase reviews receive additional trust points. For categories where purchase verification isn't possible (like hospitals or travel), users may submit optional supporting evidence — appointment slips, invoices, or booking confirmations. Verification always stays optional to protect accessibility and privacy.
Video & Photo Evidence
Reviews with original videos or photos receive additional quality consideration because they provide richer context. However, uploading media alone does not guarantee a higher Trust Score — the content must still be genuine, relevant, and useful.
Trust Score Penalties
The Trust Score may decrease for:
- Fake reviews
- Repeated promotional content
- Misleading information
- Community guideline violations
- Multiple rejected reviews
- Abuse of the reporting system
- Attempts to manipulate ratings or votes
What Does NOT Increase It?
To keep the system fair, these are ignored:
- Number of followers
- Number of profile views
- Viral videos
- Paid promotions
- External social media popularity
